Bitten by the Bug....
...I've been contemplating about getting another motorbike this year. It's been 3yrs since my crash, and have thought that this year is a good-a-time as any to take the step, and have another go.... after all 2008 is MY YEAR !!
So, I'm only after a 400cc, and truly only a Honda CBR, as thats what I had before, and felt really comfortable on it.
I've looked on Autotrader, and Pistonheads, but can't find many other sites that have a classifieds for bikes.
I know there are a few bikers on here, so any sites/links would be great!!
Thanks

I thought this thread was about Cadbury getting fleas
Try here for bikes ----> Motorcycles for sale - browse thousands of motorcycles for sale - MCN
Over 10000 for sale at present

Why not try a VFR or RVF 400, fantastic little bikes, later ones all had single sided swing arm that still looks so cool (as per Ducati 916).
Have you tried MCN, bikes tend to be all over the country though.

Years ago I had a CB-1, naked mini blade, good fun, revved to about 16,000rpm I think?

Its been so long since I was into bikes, I've lost touch with all the terms such as Gullarm, Swingarm etc!!!! Luckily though, I am "getting to know" a guy who has a lovely Suzuki 750, so I'm sure he'll help me out where I need it !

I'd get a little rack sack for Cadbury, with her own little helmet!!! No! She'd have to stay at home when I go out on the bike!!
Not sure I am strong enough, or have enough experience to get an R1!! Think I'll stick with the 400's for now!
Wozzaa... The guy I'm seeing has mentioned a bike show in Feb, where abouts is it?? I better start saving some money.... Good job my new job has a wealthy pay packet!!!
It'll be nerve wrecking to get back on a bike, but I'm sure it'll be great once I am... much to my mum's shock horror!!!! Sorry Mum!!!!

Tut Tut!!
Anyway, sat on an R6 at the weekend, and although I could probably get use to the weight of it, I think I'm going to stick with getting a CBR400, just to gain a bit of confidence on, and then maybe I'll get a 600?
Seen an awesome 400, unregistered ready to be put on the road with first UK owner..... Oh if only I had the funds now!!!!!
Tiny.... Any chance of an "Em's Bike Fund"????!!!!!!

Oh no!!!!! I didn't have any leathers etc anyway, hoping to get some at bike show in a few weeks!! Its not the riding it, its the holding it up and moving it about that worries me, and tbh, when I sat on it, I didn't feel too over biked, both of my feet were flat on the floor when I stood it up, so its not too high, adn I was able to get my legs around it (steady.... no comments please!!) and I'm sure over time I could get use to the weight of it, but I'd feel better getting confidence on a 400 first!! So, CBR400 it is!! I have about £2k to spend, has to be Jreg onwards (so I can put my "EMS" plate on it) and in good condition!
