Looked nice in the flesh ..
a few nice touches from the smurf , Gloss black RB320 wheels , pimp tints , sunstrip , VTA Valve
Still hate the " Smiley " Front grille , & The reduced space in the drivers seat compared to the previous model
Oh & it lacks a little noise , But i hear this is in development

it's a love hate car because of the drastic new looks however I love it and that's all that counts.
The look of the car is maybe 10% of the reason I bought it though, the handling and power delivery is absolutely sensational and after playing around the traction control and throttle response settings it is IMPOSSIBLE for any Subaru driver to not be impressed. If you aren't impressed then you are lying!!! I'm not talking about comparing to some 450bhp animal I'm talking out of the box driving.
The noise is admittedly lacking however that will change very very very soon along with a lot of other bits and pieces.
Lots of shouts last night of "haha look at the focus" and my personal favourite "look it's a rover 25" ... to the people that said that, because I couldn't see who you were, LICK MY BAG!!
Nice to meet the guy in the campervan, sorry mate can't remember your name ... anytime you want to go out for a spin and see what the car can do just let me know.

And i bet those same people who shouted that will be drooling all over the Focus RS when it comes out.
I'll be honest i hated the new STI when i first saw pictures of it, but after seeing one 'in the flesh' i must say i really like it.
Am from what you said it seems like it is a very good car to drive.
Now just get it sounding like an Impreza should!!!

if I were a betting man I'd be buying into the fact that maybe 80%+ of the ******* that were saying that couldn't afford to buy, spec up, insure and then run one anyway, so their opinion is irrelevant

before I forget, big shout out to Mark for doing all my stuff on his day off, and in extremely windy conditions - - and also to Debs for providing the refreshments -

I agree, after seeing it in Blue at the autosport show, White, black or Gunmetal are the only colours worth having. But I'm not keen myself, I expect it'll do what Subaru wants when it comes to Rallying and the American Sales after all that's what the new car is all about.
