Default Another "thanks Mocoms" thread...

Had my Ksport brake kit fitted today at Mocoms, done a really great job, and really pleased already with the braking performance off the car, when these are bedded in they are going to be great.

They say you cant really judge a company until something goes wrong, well in keeping with my recent run of luck, my wheels did not clear the callipers. SO Zak has lent me two of his wheel to get me out of trouble, as I am picking a set of 18s up on Wednesday.

So thanks to Zak for the loan of the wheels and thanks to Luke for all your hard work today

Much better, I want to test it again from morning cold, but much smoother now and lights up the dark bypass rather more than I expected Gonna clean those spades tomorrow and I have some tasty looking hobnobs without a home on the stairs

Sounds better. And you are always more than welcome to pop round anytime, with or without hobnobs.

Pretty good Cookie. Only problem we had was the KWs Zak n luke were fitting for me had the wrong top mounts supplied for the rears, so i'm running KW Coilovers on the front & standard setup on the rear

Drives quite strange, the front feels very planted and corners awhole lot flatter than the rear, Zak's gonna order me the correct top mounts for the rear but will take a couple of weeks.

My Fault for buying the KWs "new in a box to fit Newage STis from Fleabay"

Mind i love the B&M quickshift that got put on, really makes the gearchange more positive and really shortens the throw nicely

I got em like i said from Fleabay, i only paid £400. They retail for around the £900 mark so in the end i still got a bit of a bargain.

Did u get your final map done ?

No

Pat was out in the car for sometime yesterday, but due to "scaling problems" needs to put the car on some rollers before finishing mapping on the road.

So has set me back a bit, initial mapping yesterday left me with 250BHp ATW, however has left me a little reluctant to try it.

Can't blame ya M8, Until the map is finally finished i'd be reluctant to give it anything at all. 250Bhp @ the wheels would hardly be worth booting it anyways
