Default BOV

I know alot of people don't like them but meh, I'm still young and I like the noise. Makes me think the car goes quicker than it is

Question,

I have a Bailey DV12 dumpvalve, and i'm having the car mapped on Tuesday by Mocom.

Will fitting this effect any performance or cause any additional stress to the car components?

If not i'll fit it as it's my preference. If it'll sap performance or cause other issues i'll give the noise a miss.

This was my HKS SSQV on my Supra TT Aero.

But if I was looking for much more power and performance would it be ill advised?

I'm moving home, etc i'm going to be at this level for the next 2 years at least.

I had the option to sell get something like an R33 GTS Type-M for £5,500 and pay with £5,000 of tuning or keep the Scoob and get it to 300+bhp and the Scoob is my option.

When I put the BOV car was using more full, felt slower and popping flames.

However, I have an awful dodgy flashed map.

I figure if I fit it again when it's mapped all should be ok.

I'll speak to Mocom guru's on Tuesday and see what they suggest as well.

Alot of the higher power cars seem to do away with a VTA not sure on the main reasons but think they run better. im sure our resident techy (frayz ) will advise when he returns...

I'm not sure I can warrent or afford the costing of a few engines for the BOV sound.

I'm thinking i'll invest 99p into a Jamiroquai CD in a bargain bin that start the album with the Ferrari revving and invest in some audio

You are the most knowledgeable on tractors though.
