I really thought I wanted a Specialized RH and have to admit i liked it alot. However they were the first that i rode so was strong mindede and went to another shop and rode the rest. I found out that i liked the smaller 17" framed bikes better and i really fell in love with the Scotts.

The guy in the shop was very helpful and not pushy in anyway whatsoever. I really felt at home on the Scott scale 50. So i think im going to order one in the morning.

It was head/shoulders better than anything else i had ridden and really felt right.

I never realised how different they would all feel, after all a bikes a bike right?

How wrong i was.

Thanks for all your comments and help guys but i think the Scott is for me

Liked the Marins mate but really couldnt get on with em. They felt too upright for me and a bit "chopper" like with their high and wide bars.

Lovely bike, just not for me.

Yeah, the Scott scale 50 is in their XC race series of bikes. I prefered the more lent forward riding position as i felt i had more control and the bike responded better.

You know im not making it up when i say how different they all feel. I was amazed.
The Scott blew everything else i rode away, even some more expensive stuff (Which is usually right up my street lol)

Like i said, havent bought anything yet... just testing the waters

Stunning looking Bike Frayz!

Would love to have a look over it, but that allways leads to me spending more money.

I'm sure it will go in the car, maybe with the front wheel off, but if needs be I have a van

Nice one Frayz, lovely bike!

That Scott is the same as my mate Kevs bike. He loves it.

Tiny....you rode this bike when you were testing them. You weren't keen on the riding position on this one.

Take off the front wheel and it will fit in the fezzy no problem. Ask Les to help, he has a special way of loading a MTB in to a fezzy and it fits great! Just make sure you don't pull the front brake with the wheel off otherwise you might have trouble getting the caliper open again on the hydraulics!

Dont worry guys, i'll be careful.

Got the pedals swapped from the Shimano SPDs to some billet flat jobbies, a Scott chainstay protector and a cateye wireless computer.

Just gotta get myself a bash hat when im there and i'll be good to go.

Well excited now
