Cool Fancy Another Go Karting Session?

As Saturday was such a blast who fancies another round this time at Buckmore taking on the Kent boys & girls?

I'm looking to arrange this for June/July time and to raise a little cash for the Ron & Rons Diabetes Tour Fund. Dont panic I'm not going mad with a sensible thread normal service will be resumed

The plan is to stick to the same format as Saturday, endurance race in teams of two.

I'll contact the track to find out prices and if they will do a deal for a group booking but stick your names down if you're interested and this includes Girlies too

I notice that both the Docklands tracks forget to add the VAT on
Not cheap TBH Rye House, Bayford Meadows and Buckmore are pretty much around the same price. The Docklands are almost double the price

I thought this would be an ideal opportunity to see our friends over the river and beat them in their own backyard

Look at this link CLICKY sure does look pretty

or this one doesnt look bad either CLICKY

Buckmore and Ryehouse are proper kart circuits used for national competitions.
Both are excellent and have very good facilities - especially Buckmore.

Cheers Neil, I've been onto all three places and am still awaiting Ryehouse to get back to me with dates and prices etc.

Buckmore only have 1 date available (due to a cancellation) and that is Sunday 13th July at 5pm

Bayford Meadows have rather more openings and have the following dates and times;

Sunday 1st June 10am or 4:30pm

July we have a choice of Saturdays or Sundays both morning and afternoons but after checking the ESC Calander it looks like Saturday 12th July would be best as nothing else is booked.

Rye House have yet to return my call

All of the above will be for the twin engined or 400cc karts

Cool UPDATE ON RYE HOUSE

Buckmore only have 1 date available (due to a cancellation) and that is Sunday 13th July at 5pm price £125 per team all in.

Bayford Meadows have will charge £110 per team all in and have rather more dates and times;

Sunday 1st June 10am or 4:30pm

July we have a choice of Saturdays or Sundays both morning and afternoons but after checking the ESC Calander it looks like Saturday 12th July would be best as nothing else is booked.

Rye House Just got off the phone to Rye House and they will do us a special rate and have Sat 12th July free and on track at 12 midday for the bargain sum of £90 per team

Apparently the track has been extended and the facilities upgraded to include a restaurant and bar (for those not driving) as well as ample parking

All of the above will be for the twin engined or 400cc karts

Of course you would be welcome, you can just start a couple of laps behind this time!

As having Ed as a partner was clearly not sufficent a handicap.
