Default Chips to Carbon Bonnet....how easy to repair?

Exactly as the title says guys....is it possible to repair chip/scuff damage to a carbon bonnet? I am concerned that a chip in the corner will now collect water and start getting underneath the top coat accross the rest of the bonnet. Does anybody know of people who can deal with this issue, and how easy it is to remedy?

post some close up pics. the answer is possibly. what you'll need to do is get a touch in laquer. layer it in so it stands proud of the rest of the clearcoat. then with 3000 grit wet and dry, sand it down. then polish back up.

as said post up a couple of pics and i'll be able to give you a more definitive answer.

it'll take time and patience and never be invisible but should be possible. halfords for the lacquer / clear coat touch in and polished bliss for a couple of sheets of 3000 grit wet and dry

providing it's lacquered treat it like normal paintwork. it can be polished and waxed. it's just as important to protect it like all paintwork.

i always hang well back from gritter lorries with a normal bonnet anyway.
