Hi my name's matt and i'm a car detailing freak. Well that's for anyone new. for those regulars heres a few words on the above detail.
When i arrived on Monday i was greated by the impreza on the drive ready to be detailed. George had cleaned the car a few days before in preparation for the Duxford show on the Sunday.
The car is obviously looked after as the paint was in reasonable condition. Quite a few swirls but other than that and a few bugs it was pretty clean.

![](http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z194/HorizonDetailing/IMG_9317.jpg)
Onto the process used. the car was jetted down and then foamed and left to soak for a while. then it was washed with the 2 bucket method and the sun was so hot it didn't take much drying. The car was clayed and preped for polishing.
There were a few sticker marks on the wheels and the insides needed a clean. The wheels were removed one at a time and cleaned with degreaser and tar and glue remover. After rinsing they were sealed with wheel sealant.
Before:

The exhaust was pretty grubby but then it's only strange people like me that tend to clean the inside of it.

Although it didn't take long and it was looking a whole lot better.

While the wheels were off the arches needed some attention. These were jetted, then left to soak with a combo of degreaser and tar and glue remover. making sure not to get the t&g on the discs.

After polishing, the car was sealed up and give a coat of poorboys quick wax. I got so carried away with the cracking reflections i'd managed to get with white paint i forgot to take a pic of the whole car. But you get the idea with these:

Thanks go to Mrs ST? and Georgem for the bacon butties and drinks all day.

Nice work Matt. Good results and a thorough professional job with some nice reflections. Not the easiest to get with white either.
