Isn't the main benefit of the PIAA wipers that it lays down a layer of silicon on the screen, helping the water to bead and aiding visibility in the rain.
The actual wiper part of the process is the same as any normal (quality) blade. Isn't it?
Obviously putting Rain-X on regularly is a pain in the neck and just having the wipers do it for you is a major benefit.

Yes the PIAAs lay down a layer of silicone that does a similar job to that of Rain-x. However the PIAA blades are pure silicone, the silicone is softer and more conforming to the screen than any rubber blade. The silicone also does not go brittle like rubber does over time, so your blades will actually last longer.
I will still continue to use rain-x even with teh PIAA's for maximum water repelence

Okay guys a new update.
Spoke with Alyn today regarding an even better discount of 20% instead of the already great 17.5% we already got.
To make everything fair, no orders will be processed untill next weekend.
So that means we've got till next Sunday night (18th May 08) to get 20 names on the list. If we meet the target we get 20%, if not the deal stands as is at 17.5%.
Come on guys get cracking
