Question Classic brake upgrade or Bugeye backbox anyone ?

I was over at Nevendon Salvage yesterday (Rawreth branch, Japanese and Far East parts section), and found these 2 things on a couple of cars they had there.

A 4 pot upgrade with grooved discs, red stuff pads and braided hoses :-

Colour may not be everyones cup of tea, and I don't know how much they want for them (usually they are pretty cheap).

and secondly, a backbox on a Bugeye :-

Sorry the pics are that good, taken on camera phone.

i bought my 4 pots for my silver wrx there and paid £175 inc vat for them. that was cheap at the time, guess you may get them a bit cheaper than that off them now. might send dad in for the braided hoses though.

Strange that they should not sell the hoses, as I said , they are braided.

When you do get the brakes George, do invest in Braided hoses at the same time, the work involved is not going to be much more, and the brakes will work much better

Joey,

Didn't look too much around the Classic, the bugeye had the back box still on it (but no other exhaust parts), and the bootlid had sold off the bugeye, along with the rear wing.

I suggest that people look in now and again when they are passing, as new cars come in at anytime, that way, you can usually bag the performance (or upgraded) parts

Was gonna get down there on sat to take a look, but was busy. Is it the big yard directly opposite the burger van, the one where you have to sign in and wear a hi-vi vest?
