Default 911 ring lap time

i want to be able to do a lap of the "ring" in this sort of time and in a production car too!

Dunno mate, never really timed it.

Id hazzard a guess around 8.50 ish BTG

The car has changed alot since then and i know it is massively capable, much more capable than i am as a driver.

Id say theres deffo low 8 min in my car... if not less but youd need to be Sabine Schmitz to extract that. lol

TBH Matt a 400bhp stripped classic should see it, I've done an 8:38 in mine with 298bhp/1750kgs (as had a passenger), crap AP Strapdrive brakes and standard suspension. To top it off there was roadworks through Wipperman (iirc) and I was held up by a Lambo between Pflanzgarten and Schwalbenschwanz.
I'm yet to have a clear dry lap.

i think the ra would take hours to get round lol. still limited to 112mph and even if it wasn't would still only hit about 120 tops lol.

you're a far better than i'll ever be mate you should try and get sabine to take your motor round

mmmm perhaps i'll have to get out there next year. at least then i'll have a bench mark to set against.
