Anyone fancy some Coarse Fishing
Just testing the water (pardon the pun) for some possible interest for some coarse fishing! I've not been for ages and I think I'm long overdue for a day off LOL

Yep Sun 13th is real good for me also
The venue will need to be checked out though as they like to fish a match or two there as we have found out in the past

i usually ledger on one and float on the other rod. (although this lake is well active) i think johnuk caught over 20 fish last session !!!
have you fished frant lakes in sussex...
its fantastic..

Fished Frant for a yr several yrs back mate , am fishing mid kent and kaps waters at the moment.
Hopefully next yr will be on private hush hush lake with some big uns in it

Though i think it would be wise to make sure that they are not fishing a match on the large lake that day , Though if there are a few of us im sure that they would reserve a few pegs for us if asked
If not it would mean fishing the small lake or the stock pond agaiin !!

This sounds like a good idea, any weekend in the school holidays on a warm July day would mean the lake could be jammed, or you would have to get there very early.
I am sure I will up for this, although only really do carp fishing nowadays and I don't know if you will let me use both rods in a match
Would be nice to get a bend in the rod, currently fishing a really tough lake and haven't had much luck lately, in fact, only 1 6lb tench has graced the bank.

I know hatfield is a great fishing venue, but so is Glouster Park (including spelling mistakes).
i have mentioned this before and we always go up to hatfield, so why not try a bigger venue with bigger fish and more of.
plus its in Basildon

Went to Monks Lakes down near Maidestone on Sunday and I am wasted. I hadn't been fishing in about 7 years and I must have landed 2-3 mirror/green tench every hour!
