seems to be the way forward...

all the city boys are buying up mk1 golfs and 205's etc...

i like the look of this myself:-



almost as old as me..... lol

hell yeah! loose the red off the bonnet and stick a set of matt black moondish wheels on it and away you go.

can pick up rs1600i quite cheaply now. only trouble is like the s1 rst they tend to rust a fair bit.

i'd love to get my hands on a mk2 cortina and stick a modern engine and drivetrain in it. something like a bored out / stroked 2.0 zetec lump runing uprated cams and set of webber twin 45's.

Dazza, grab yourself a copy of this months Retro Cars magazine, got a 260Z Turbo with a 300ZX engine running 450bhp!!!!! Looks stunning
