Default What is it with the UK ????

A little dusting of the White stuf and the country is stuffed.

I earlier went over to see a competitor, and he had all his staff grounded in their warehouse ....... Because there was snow on the ground . The funny thing was, I walked in, saw everyone standing around and just said "what's all this, Snow stopped play" , joking, but that was it, the owner had grounded them.

I just said, has he got insurance for you all ?

I cannot belive how all the Fins, Norwegians, Canadians and even North Americans can carry on without the disruptions that we have here.

I'm not complaining though, the snow means those that are a bit concerened about their lack of driving skills stay off the roads ........ Me, I was taking advantage of the lack of traffic on the roads in my van .

Maybe because for them its normal so they have the infrastructure to cope with it. If we had weather like this every year, we would too.

Im sure if we had snow like this more often we'd all be driving jeeps with snow chains. The fact is we dont, so we dont make the effort to prepare for it.

I care about the van, it stayed safely where it stood.

But you're right the focarse did get to play, obviously not as much fun as rwd, but the handbrake is very effective.

Cool

Have to say the roads outside of Southend were mighty empty

In town they were just as normal but minus the busses

Either way you have to chortle at how ineffective we are with the weather..

I.E.
Too many leaves on the line
The wrong sort of rain
Snow etc. etc.
