Free shares in a Company!!
Hi many people are aware of "Facebook" "MySpace" Etc etc.
There is a new site opening later this year called me2everyone.com/119622
This will combine Ebay facebook etc in one large mega site that is projected to be one of the biggest things on the internet by 2012.
Becasue its a start up they are giving away shares for free!!! They are valued at £0.001 so if you sign up you will get 250 Shares in the company free! Now the project tese will rise to £.52 by 2011 but when there is no money to put down there is no risk.
The site will be used like a social site but also to sell things on and to start your own buisness.
Have a look and sign up if you interested it is free only thing you need to make sure is when the site goes live you need to log on and sign up under the same email address to get the shares in the company.
Site

there is a bit more to getting shares in companies than just giving them your email address im afraid...
looks like a marketing scam to get people's interest.
it seems they have succeeded in at least one person
lol

The one you have posted is associated with someones account which they are tracking by cookies.
On the left it gives the details of the person whos account it is, so i deleted the cookies and just went to the base url and it gave me the same page without the referral details.
Do you only get shares if you get someone else to sign up or something?
The reason they are giving away pretty worthless shares at the moment and using referrals is to get people to spread the site by email and posting on forums like you have in the hope that it will get loads of people to sign up for it.
These days, starting a new ineternet venture is extremely difficult as how do you get people interesting in your page when there are billions of pages on the internet, its extremely hard, so that need to either have a lucky break like having a celebrity mention the site on the tv like what happened with twitter on the jonathon ross show or incentivise people to go there and spread the word like offering these shares before the sit launches in the hope that the traffic the site is getting will encourage advertisers to pay to advertise on the site.
Internet marketing is a very difficult topic and i've not seen this method used before but it might work.

it always astounds me what people will believe.
Common sense says that something isn't quite right. Whole point of business is to make money, therefore why would a start-up dilute control of his company by offering free shares. he gains nothing apart from red-tape when trying to make any decisions.
