Default Exhaust heat wrap

As the scoob is staying (yet again ) I've decided to keep it as a toy with track days and Drag racing (the quarter mile kind, not crossdressing before you lot pipe up) in mind.

I'm going to take the exhaust manifold off to port and polish it, as well as putting a better up pipe on. While it's off I will be heat wrapping it.

I've found a place in Laindon that specialises in supplying the petro-chem industry with heat wraps and I bought 10m of 2" wrap 3mm thick for £15, this is suitable for 600 degrees C, but can supply 1000deg wrap!

The guy is a decent bloke and already sells a fair bit to Cosworth owners, so I thought I'd let you lot know and share the "secret"
