Default What wheels do you prefer?

I thought I had decided on these:

In 17"'s but hard to come by so now thinking 18"'s

But then along came these:

So now I am undecided I like both, but am wondering what would suit my car more, so looking for your opinions.

I know some will not like either (Frayz) but it will be interesting to see the views on here.

Thanks in advance
david

The second ones

But it would depend upon what car they were for?

Are they for looks alone, or will they be a 'lighter' wheel ?

I prefer the 1st one also for looks but feel they would suit a darker look

Nate with me in the car do you seriously think I'm worried about the weight

Only for looks, do like a dark wheel just might be too much with my car being dark blue

But in all seriousness, you will notice that the wheels are lighter when driving.

When I changed to the Rota's, I was amazed at the difference in driving feel that the wheels made.

All the more important Dave

Depending on how much muller you have to blow on wheels I kind of think if you wait a wee bit you could do better.

18"TEAM DYNAMICS PRO RACE 1.2 ALLOY WHEELS&TYRES on eBay, also, Wheels with Tyres, Car Wheels, Tyres Trims, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 28-May-09 22:34:04 BST)

These come with £400 worth of sessantas and for an extra £100 the wheels are better than the Inovites with a better width and offset 5X100ET45.

What's on yours atm, would be worth selling and waiting an extra pay day, for better wheels and new tyres. or spanking the tyres and upgrading when you need £400 worth of new tyres anyway ?

or...

Supercue recently got a blinding deal on some of these rims from Leigh Tyres, admittedly they are small poofs wheels for the MX5, but I think he mentioned around £400 inc Toyo T1-Rs

Dave, for handling, it is all about unsprung weight, rather than total car weight, so as Nate suggests you will benefit from lighter rim / tyres.
