Hilti guns
If anyone hears of someone selling Hilti guns cheap, could you let me know ASAP on 07831 629452 (My company mobile)
A group of theiving barstewards has just strolled into my workshop and stole:
2x Hilti GX120 gas guns
2x Hilti DX460 Shot nail guns
I was upstairs in my office, updating my stock sheets when I heard a commotion down stairs, I ran down the stairs to find out whats going on and saw 3 people getting into a silver focus or fiesta with the red hilti cases and sped off!!
The car reg is NG07KKR
Just waiting for the police to turn up now

T-ss-rs They say crime does`nt pay but they`re riding round in a 07 plate vehicle. Mind you probably nicked that aswell. When the police turn up don`t expect too much then you won`t be dissappointed these days they can`t even catch a cold.
My business is small plant and tool hire so I`ll certainly keep my eyes and ears open for your goods.
Good luck with the local police.

theiving barstewards! sounds like they knew what they were after. will ask around as have a few mates in the building trade. will let you know if they get offered any.
would suspect focus as the DVLA tax site is showing it as an 1800 in grey. doesn't mean to say though that the plates belong to that car.

We only bought the DX460's last week! haven't even been out of their cases!
It could of been worse, I've logged all the tools on the computer and initially thought 9 Hilti guns were stolen, but when I double checked, it was just the 4!
Got a feeling they will be back tonight and try and break into the unit

sort of, they are insured, but the excess is £2500!!!!
When they got in the car, I shouted out "OI you C*&ts" and the N/S back door opened and a blokewas about to get out and he said "Who are you calling a c*&t" so I said "You, you fcukwit, come on then" Not a clever idea when they're 4 up! but they just sped off. Adrenaline make you so some irrational things at times!!

Not trying to make a bad situation worse, but we waited, and waited and waited some more.
Then when I chased them up I was told a PC had been out and spoken to us and the case had been closed.
I asked when this was & the day in question was when no one was at the business so, reasonably enough, I challenged this.
I put in a formal complaint & was told it had been entered 'by error'. Clearly I wanted to take it further, but was sent a letter stating if I wanted to pursue it I needed to instruct a solicitor to act.
I wish now I had pursued it, but at the time I wasn't able to.
Oh & they did find the theiving little basket 8 months later - in Colchester nick!! Oh the irony.
Good Luck!
