standard would be best as sometimes aftermarket dv can cause problems

no probs to remove it on a td05 which you'll be running. i ran my ra without one for months and it was fine. It will shorten the life of your tubro due to the build up of back pressure on the turbine blades / bearings however. By how much though is anyones guess.

If you're going back to standard though get rid of all the stickers as well

pond isn't going to happen now as it was going to cost about £5k before i started to buy the koi. so i'm looking at getting another scoob. think i've missed out on one i was looking at. but the wheels would be handy to have to clean up and seal ready for when the next scoob arrives on the drive

Very odd I took my dv off well over a year ago, it sounds the nuts and I've never had a problem at all. You got a front mount or standard ic?
