Exhaust swap??

Exhaust swap??
Does anyone want to swap my extra quiet stainless steel 3" system for their noisy bugger one?
Funds are a little tight at the mo as my new job is paid monthly where as the old job was weekly, so can't really afford to have the silencers cut out just yet!

I suppose if it was bought as a turbo back system, the downpipe could be non standard, which would cause the fitment issues

it has a flange (no giggling) type fitment to centre section, as opposed to the H&S type flat joint (std aftermarket type), so a centre section to match would be required.
i think thats right, from what i've seen and had explained

As mentioned, the downpipe is a bog standard subaru catted one.
If Hayward and Scott centre sections fit a standard catted downpipe, why can't this exhaust go on any other Impreza?
Admittedly I've only had a quick look uder the car and it looks like a standard flanged fitment as you's expect to see on a H&S, so at the moment, I can't see what the problem is!
Only way to settle this once and for all it to take the exhaust off and try it with the bog standard catted down pipe I've got in the garage which is from the old Scoob.

Sorst report £1295 actually was a one off for that car, tried several cars to put it on none fitted, I think i said before, If you de cat it corn take it easy mate, and get mapped straight away,
i told you why the thickness etc i think , the down pipe or upipe was a ceramic one which got damaged 4 years ago on a broken drain, i beleive the turbo housing is all different too, ill give you some spec later ill pop rond for a tea, i did take to a garage who said bring it down ill put some 3" piping on it, and then when i got there they said not touching it, lol,
I think its to do with the back pressure or something, i asked em to cut away the bafflers," said NO,
Dont make sense....
anyway ill pop round
