Well done to the ESC boys who drove a very consistant race....
good to catch up with some old friends..
Its fair to say that ALL the scooby teams were the best turned out cars for the event.
Cracking event, well organised and a credit to everyone involved.

Well done to everyone, been getting texts off YUM all day and have been nervous as hell about it.
We all thought that Team ESC were in with a shout but until you see the competition you can't really tell.
Everyone has put in hard work but none more so that Arkwright whose skill, exuberance and experience really was the key
I've driven the car and am therefore incredibly jealous of all the drivers for having the chance to compete in it
After 3 hours I think that team ESC won by a matter of just over a minute
3 cheers for Team ESC

What a fantastic weekend! Absolutely amazing result well done to the rest of the team, it was a nail biting last half hour of the race and an incredibly proud moment when the chequered flag was waved as Tiny drove past the finish line.
Well done to the MSOC too, no mean feat, completing the race and whilst driving the oldest cars out there.
I'm absolutely shattered after only getting 6 hours sleep over the 2 nights, but it was worth it.
Got about 1000 pics to sort through and about an hours video footage, so will get some posted ASAP.

Well, we've just got home, unloaded the truck and fought for the shower....
Sore throat, slightly sore head, tired but happy!!
What a totally awesome weekend! Terrific bunch of people, great event, and a good result too!
The whole event was well organised - from the marshals calling it just right when water was needed, to last year's winner, Lee, offering helpful tips & advice. Thank you MLR for inviting us!
Ark would have been happy just for the car to finish, a top five position was hoped for - then we saw the competition start to arrive.....
With about 30 minutes to go we realised we could possibly win - Ark was anxious, Tiny was bouncing about like Tigger....you get the picture?
The racing was clean, close & very entertaining - it is incrediblre to think we won by just under a minute & a half after three hours - won by a total of three laps!
There are lots of people to thank, including the sponsors, the team, the supporters, the WAGS and the kids (who were remarkably well behaved on so little sleep!)
Kent Scoobies were running ahead of us, before they suffered a breakdown, but there car looked good, and total respect to Budgie - who not only got two cars to the MLR, but BOTH of them finished - well done MSOC.
Ark is sat here still not quite believing what has happened this weekend - but would like to also pass on his thanks to everyone - it has been awesome to be involved in this.
Great to see our name down already for next year - roll on MLR 2010!!
Though I for one am looking forward to a few MLR - free weeks, having lived it 24 / 7 for the past few weeks - and I know Jackie is too!!
GO TEAM ESC!!!
