That's what you get for shopping in snobby Upminster and waitrose

If you want cheap then Aldi is closer to you mate

I agree with the petrol though, thankfully I only need normal unleaded now, still 4p dearer a litre in tesco than sainsbury's and even tesco have different prices, 113.9 near me, 109.9 at thurrock

Tins of beans don't cost different prices at different tesco's though

You are what you eat apparently.

Aldi is Ok for washing powder and cold meats, but anything else would probably kill me !!

£8.00 of it was a particulary nice bottle of Hungarian Pinot Grigio though, so i thought i'd treat myself. OMG just noticed its only 12%. might have to top it up with some of polish's finest firewater.

still got a 75% empty fridge though....

the ham is sliced thinner than a subaru paint job. hahahah

i hear you on the fuel business! i put £20 in mine yesterday and it took me to 110 miles left on my trip computer. Taken the youngest to the doctors for her injections, and the missis shopping. now on 85 left in tank. Tho like Dave said, we dont need to spend 1.12 on Vpower anymore!

Petrol prices are a rip off for sure!

I never use anything but Shell V so I am glad I only use mine mainly at weekends. I usually pay at pump & the £60 authorised only just makes it for a fill up

I usually buy full items

cash only for me at petrol stations, after so many horror stories (seemingly mainly at Shell)

i hear what your saying Stu, but i dont buy that much each week to be honest.

i also try and use my local Farm for veg and fruit when possible (cheaper, lasts much longer and tastes sooo much better)

Very strange clientèle at Lidl's I think Farmfoods is a rung up on the chav snob scale I quite enjoy the diversity of budget shopping, I don't know where these people hide for the rest of the day ?

Nothing wrong with Lidl, Aldi or Farmfoods. Have shopped in there a fair bit and will continue to. Waitrose is just overpriced so is Tesco to be honest. Sainsburys are a waste of space and Asda is middle ground imo. Just their home delivery website is a real pita since they've changed it. Tesco home delivery it is then.

i thought you'd have made more of an effort dave, to be honest

I'm of the opionion of buying low volume high quality grub, as opposed to high volume vomit fodder, but if i had a family to feed i would deffo feel differently.

waitrose essential items are reasonably priced and taste lush

although i got a tesco clubcard this week, so might be frequenting this place a bit more.

TK max is a big NO NO though
