You won`t be needing my SFE at the lodge then. I`m feeling all stood up now.
I bought mine from Maplins a whole £20.00 I don`t expect it`s very accurate but good enough for a guide.
Does this mean you are going to break your viginity aswell

Was going to PM you today, bought one yesterday from Maplins When I saw the price online I thought der ! just get one ! Fits my telescopic tripod too, so I can set it up to read and sit on the loud pedal. It's just an indication but if your sub 100 should be fine for the real deal.

When you do it might be worth getting somone to watch the meter because when I last used mine on Ross`s car it was reading 113dba whilst he was revving it and afterwards max reading said 95dba
Mind you he might of caused mine to go into meltdown.

I think I am going to have to get the wagon warm before I go noise testing 104.3 on the tripod 1m away @5krevs. 10minutes up to temp from cold start is probably louder than normal. Lol the Nurspec 108.2 5k @1meter 10 minutes in. Good fun though.

Stu not 100% sure but I think they test them at 45 degrees to the exhaust exit 1m away. Might help get a lower reading if you are`nt doing that already.
Could always ring brands to find out for sure.
