Default AMC chelmsford - anyone had any bad experiences

or problems from them doing services, other stuff to their Subaru?

got subaru assist (well AA) coming out between 9 - 12 to look at the car, billowing white smoke on start up think it will be taken there for more inspection?

BeeSTi was happy with them and NickBes was happy to pay £5,000 for an oil filter change on a 40 year old car, just to keep up the warranty.

Shame about the car, hope it's nothing serious

i've used them for parts to get trim clips and moulding when i resprayed my classic sti and engine parts when i changed my engine (some where just single bolts) and were excellent, the parts guy was more than helpful and always phoned back after he had found the parts

from my experience with the parts side top notch not used the service side tho sorry

I paid £145 for an oil change service!! lol That was only to keep the full Subaru history which turned out good in the long run as when I sold the car (back to the bloke that p/x it with the dealer I bought it from ) I got the same money I paid for the car 9 month earlier

I had no problem with their service work at all. I know yours should be under warranty Mark but they do also give 10% discount for SIDC members

Hope its nothing serious Mark.

Got my 03 STI from there, had problems with the car and they sorted it 100% took there time but got there in the end. Would use them for my next Subaru. Well if petrol isnt too much by then.

Poor form, poor form. Ask where it's going for any specialist work Mark, not all is done in house IIRC.
