possible remap???

Default possible remap???

Hi , Ive only had my wrx for a few months, not too clued up with scoobs, I bought her as a standard wrx turbo but another scooby owner has had a drive and told me she aint running as standard?? I have fitted a new air filter system and cat back exhaust system since then, engine management light came on soon as they were fitted, poss remap? any1 know wa good place to take her and how much of a hole its gona burn in me pocket? any advice would be much appreciated, thanks

Presume your air filter system is a cold air intake? If so put the standard airbox and filter back on and reset the ECU. Hopefully this should extinguish the CEL light as you dont need a remap when fitting a catback. If this doenst cure it then yes see a mapper (might be worth seeing one regardless). Plenty on here you choose from........Dynamix, JGM, FB Tuning, BR Developments etc etc

yes cold air intake, would I be asking for trouble running it with the cold air intake and eml light on for the time being? thanks

ECU needs mapping to suit the new cold air induction kit.
