Electrical Problem
Hi everyone, does anyone within the ESOC know of a good auto-electrical guy, something is draining my battery over time. I.e. if the car is not used for around 3 days the battery is nearly flat. The battery was replaced 2 months ago with a Bosch one, I have checked the alternator output/charge rate which is ok. Had a general look round, boot light etc. but cannot see anything obvious, if car is used daily or left a day or so all is ok.
Car is a 2002 Bugeye WRX.
Any ideas or recommendations?
Thanks
Paul.

Hi Paul
Sorry i can't make a suggestion on a good auto spark guy
Can only suggest that it might be the alarm that's causing your drain.
I had this on my old RS Turbo , The clifford concept 600 would drain the battery flat in a couple of days !!
Only pinned it down to that , as i disconnected the alarm and the the battery didn't drain !
As it was still under warranty i got it replaced by the company that fitted it.
Have you tried posting under the electrical section on SN
https://www.scoobynet.com/lighting-a...electrical-14/
Other than that , you could buy a solar battery charger that plugs into the cig lighter socket .

I know it's not a permant fix
But it will hopefully stop the disappointment of going to start the the scoob in the morning and nothing happening.
Best of luck mate

Hi Ron, thanks for the reply, alarm seems ok, thought I would post here first, but may try the electrical section if all else fails.
Spec'C'57, thanks for the contact will give it a call.
JDM_Stig, yes it does have a tracker, had not thought of that one, thanks.
