Hi all
New member from Dagenham.
About the cars - We have two scoobs in the family.. My dad owns a blue bugeye WRX. He's been doing small mods to it for a long time, hoping to get it finished this year.
The second is our shared toy. Recently purchased and It’s pretty rough and needs a lot of work but we purchased it to work on together, learn about the cars and turn it into a trackday car... although now we have purchased it we seem to have very different opinions of what a trackday car is!
Can't seem to figure out how to post pics of the cars?!
Well that’s us - really wanted to make it to the recent Dyno Run but just wasn't possible so hopefully meet you all soon.
Cheers
Lee

Welcome Lee, we are all a friendly bunch here.
To post up pics you would be better opening a Photobucket account, up loads the pics and click the IMG code, it will then copy the text and it is a simple job of just right click paste and it should display the image.

Welcome along to the club mate Hopefully we'll see you at a few meets in the future
To answer your question ..............
You'll have to create a account on a FREE web photo hosting site like
http://beta.photobucket.com/
Upload your pics to there
When viewing the pics in your library , you'll see a links box next to your photo saying
Email / im link
Direct link
HTML code
IMG code
Click the ( IMG code ) and it automatically copies the link txt.
Then paste that code into the post txt on here
Hope that helps

Our project car - 1999 JDM WRX (actually a lot better in pictures than person) - not so soon to be trackday beast!

OMG !!!
How do you manage to keep a scoob around ib*** cl***
Your dad must have fort knox security on his garage
With a couple of rottweilers that live with the scoob
Your classic look clean too

Nice to see a couple of you are so close by!
There's a nice red classic that's often around Dagenham in the summer (haven't seen it much in the winter) drives down church elm lane frequently.. Is that any if you guys?

It's great to see father and son with a common interest, sadly all too rare these days. Reminds me of me and my son, flew R/C aircraft together and now fast cars!
If your trip to Elites is for alignment/balancing etc give these guys a consideration. I've found them very good.

No alignment, just balancing. Not sure if we're going to be changing the suspension but over the next few months on the classic so no point doing that yet (especially at elite prices) plus the tyres are crap and it barely comes out of the garage so not worried about them.
The steering wheel shakes above 80 and under hard braking so need balancing and wheels checked.
I'll take a look at the link you sent, thanks!

Oh and yes it's nice having the common interest although it usually means hours spent looking blankly under the bonnet trying to complete a 10 min job.. Learning is All part of the fun though I guess
