The Duck Off I ain't going to soggy Southend meet!

If anyone is around for This saturday as I know there was a big meet in Southend which was cancelled (yes there may still be people going).
If you are in the area pop by and say Hello!
There will be a guy selling his usual rubber ducks down there which all money goes to charity
If anyone is around pop by!

Legal bid launched to tackle 1,000 boy racer rally
10:00am Tuesday 5th February 2013 in Local News
A LEGAL bid is being launched to stop more than 1,000 boy racers descending on Southend.
Southend Council is seeking an injunction to prevent the cruisers attending a rally planned for Marine Parade, Southend, on February 9.
It will seek the civil order at Southend County Court this week to put a stop to the event billed as the “Southend Takeover.”
Sgt Ian Hughes, of Southend police, said: “Essex Police are working closely with Southend Council in order to obtain an injunction preventing the cruise going ahead.
“Police have a number of resources on standby on the day to address the potential volume of vehicles coming to Southend on February 9 if the injunction is successful or not.”
Southend Council’s Chief Executive, Rob Tinlin said: “We are currently in discussions with Essex Police and exploring all options - including the possibility of seeking an injunction, to tackle the issue of an unauthorised large scale cruiser event anticipated to take place in Southend.”

hi Essex Don,
If you read the actual event this is not one located in Southend, this is one of my friends who is doing a little social meet up in Halstead, Essex, We do not want anything to do with the Southend meet.
It would just be nice to see a few more scoobs down

Not a problem,
This is a little meet for locals and a charity one too, he has some pretty awesome rubber ducks... Like ninja ones
Yeah it looks like it, I have heard from a source that they will be preparing roadblocks around Southend to stop people going there.
I think it's not worth the hassle.

Yeah there are a named few who ruin it for others. We usually just meet up, have a good chat about cars and just chill.
I do hate people who **** around in places like in that above video.
Thats appalling that someone would drive that quick in that area.
Take it to a track if you wanna do that.
