ESOC Geometry Setup Day @ Skidmarques, Hutton - Sunday 17th March
Essex Subaru Owners Club Geometry Setup Day
Skidmarques, Hutton
Sunday 17th March
Hey guys,
I have organised a geometry & wheel alignment day for us down at Skidmarques in Hutton, Brentwood on Sunday 17th March.
Wheel alignment is one of the biggest factors that affect the way your vehicle drives and handles.
Damien, owner of Skidmarques in Hutton and I have been friends for a long time. He is exceptionally good at what he does as has done my geometry for years.
They can alter camber, castor, toe, track and ride height of the state of the art Hunter 4 wheel laser alignment jig. Choose from mild mannered road geometry to the renound Prodrive specifications. Or have an agressive track setup for that forthcoming track day.
Good geometry will make your car safer, drive smoother, handle better and corner sharper. Not to mention ensure those expensive tyres wear correctly.
We will also have the following benefits on the day:
Full use of Skidmarques premesis
Use of their 2 post ramp/tools for small jobs and demonstrations
Tea & Coffee facilites
Heated waiting room with games console
Unlimited parking
Sandwiches or BBQ depending on numbers
Damien has offered us trade prices on all alignment services for the day and is willing to do deals on tyres and other services.
Donations can also be made to farleighs hospice for some services. http://www.farleigh.org/
Geometry pricing as follows:
Front toe adjust £24
Rear Toe adjust £24
Camber adjust £10 donation to Farleighs Hospice
Castor adjustment £10 donation to Farleighs Hospice
So a full toe, camber, castor setup at only £68!!

We can swap tyres and do small jobs on their ramps too for donations to the charity.
Traders are also welcome to bring stands, etc.
Hopefully we can get a good turnout for this. £68 for a full geometry setup is an absolute bargain. These guys are next to Mountune/Revolve and setup touring cars. They sure know what they're doing.

Also if you guys want to fit camber bolts, updated roll bars then this is an ideal time to do it.
Ill be on standby to help with fitting too if any of you need it.

Will keep an eye on this, need to check with work if I can make it.
Geometry was done on my car before I bought it. Would be ideal to see if I can lift it back up as I have new splitter I can't use due to my sloping driveway.

Get your name down if you can Dan. I'd like to try and get as many along to this as possible. Damien and the team are a superb group of people that really go out of their way to offer a grea service.
4 wheel alignment as this level is usually double the price offered.

Went over there late last year, great bloke and as you say, knows his stuff.
Strangely enough I have Just got together a new set of front and rear struts and a set of springs, plus the adjustable camber bolts so I will try my best to get them fitted just before the 17th March so I can get the full set-up.
Could someone please add me to the list, thanks.
