Dear ESOC's

Having a bit of a brain block at the mo

I'm getting most things in place for the ESOC summer tunnel run

I wanted to come up with a new style vinyl badge for this summer tunnel run.

We will be keeping the old style tunnel run badge for the October one , Just wanted a new look design for the summer tunnel run

I'm just all out of ideas at the mo

So if anyone would like to sketch a design onto a piece of paper, and take a photo of it , and upload it onto this thread , you will have the chance of winning a Gold ESOC logo sticker

The design must include the New ESOC car outlines logo , NOT the lettering thou ( Essex Subaru Owners Club ).
And the words " Summer Tunnel Run 2013 "
And the sticker will need to be a circle !!

I will create / make the chosen design on CAD / photoshop , so no need to worry about making it professionally I'm just after the design idea

So guys + girls get your thinking caps on, get yourself doodling on some paper and upload your ideas

I have an idea for a design, yet I can't draw to save my left ball and I'm sitting in an airport in Azerbaijan waiting to come home so ill try to describe it...


Picture a tunnel road sign that you normally see on... Yes you guessed it... The roads just before you enter the tunnel. (The one with the tunnel shape in black color separated in squares/ rectangles to represent bricks)


The ESOC logo (color undecided) sits in front of this image. The logo is made 3d to an effect that it is driving into the distance through the tunnel

Around the outer edge (if there is enough room) are the words 'ESOC Summer tunnel run I 2013

If anyone doesn't understand what I mean, I understand without a drawing.

For those that do and think its a stupid design don't be afraid to say, (although I will let your tyres down at the next meet)

If... A big if this is a good enough idea to be used It'd be quite funny that the logo was designed by someone bored and as p*ssed as a fart in an airport.

I think the idea of a road sign for tunnels is a great idea. Maybe with the London skyline in siloutte (spelling) black and the ESOC logo in white on the black?

I think you should have a globe picture, nice circle, with a dot on London with the phrase " Where in the world would you rather be"

can the sticker be full colour/images, or does it have to be in plain solid colours like the ESOC logo?

Guess it will be a digital printed item Rab, so I guess anything goes really.

Solid may be better for visual impact though. Kinda like the Gumball3000 stickers.

Obviously colours etc are completely open for discussion, thanks Ron, really is a 5 minute jobbie after half a bottle of wine in all fairness lol.

I've only chopped the logo because it's very faint in appearance, and I think theres still enough in view for folks to get the idea.

We have spoken on the phone, and his happy to step into my shoes

Takes the pressure off me with all the crap that's going on with my job at the mo !

No worries, glad to be part of it! So, we'll let this run? if anyone has any ideas keep them coming and i'll take care of the 'making them professionally' if thats alright. Alternatively we can run with my design with some tweaks
