Default Wheel Spacer Considerations

Hi there, as the title suggests i am looking to bring the alloys out to meet the arches more, I think on my 2006 the rear wheels sit in to far, what do I need to consider when doing this, are there kits available and if so recommendations would be ace, also, would you need a full geometry test as if so I will be lowering the car on up rated springs at the same time
Any advice would be fab!! Thanks!
