Hi all. My mates brought an import 1995 wrx and when u hit boost it feels like the fuel is being cut off. Jerks violently and just loses power. If u half throttle it then it will rev all the way round. Soon as u full throttle it does that. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

 

It's usually modifications that cause this. Are you aware of any?

 

Decat, induction kit and dump valve

 

Try cleaning the boost solenoid if you are still running the standard 3 port. Connect the 2 black and 2 green diag plugs under the steering column and spray brake cleaner into the solenoid until it is clicking away freely
