Default Engine managment light of after changing dump valve and fuel filter

Engine managment light of after changing dump valve and fuel filter is this normal?

just read up on this now and it seems the problem may have been i didn't take the fuel pump fuse out and run the car till it died I just swapped the filter over school boy error! took off a vent to atmosphere dump valve and put on a std recirculating dump valve.

Anyone have a solution?

try this .... borrow a obd reader and clear the fault code it just might of thrown the light on as you didnt remove fuse !

Find out what code threw the light before resetting so you could address accordingly. I have done fuel filter, and fuel pump without disconnecting the green wire and that shouldn't throw a code. Might have been a sensor wire you knocked off when you're doing your thing but I'm speculating just get the code read for accuracy.
