Default Exhaust mounts??

Does anyone know where to get decent exhaust mounts from? I bought some aftermarket one and they are worse the 14 year old original ones!

Not exactly very technical but sick of the clunking!

There's no subaru garages near me!

There what I bought! They are shocking, not as tough as the originals and fit loose! Thought they were gonna be better

Must be different to the ones I received then! These are the ones I bought mounts they are about half the thickness of the original ones and no where near as solid! I'd send them back but I cut one of my old ones off! My cars a classic, don't know what you guys are driving but they are useless

@faster than you - What type of hangers are on your backbox? Thick ones like OE & Prodrive on the left, or thin ones on the right like alot of aftermarket boxes?

My powerflex ones are harder than a viagra concrete mix ? No flex at all and tighter than a tight thing to get over the hangers ? If the Back box has thin hangers pack them out by winding on some plumbing tape or insulating tape

It's the one with the thinner hangers, I've tried wrapping tape round but the brackets just seem soft, I can squeeze them easily in my hands!

For the side to side movement id stick a couple of jubilee clips either side of mount to stop it sliding back n forth through the mount

Even them wont solve your side to side movement. The hanger thickness on the box is your issue

The exhaust was fitted from new and with the original mounts it was absolutely fine for 15 years or so, they have just began to perish, that's why I changed them, there was no movement or rattling what so ever.

The genuine ones are much thicker and tighter and don't give the exhaust room to move!

Gutted I cant replace them now
