Does anybody know anything about the standard fitment tracker fitted to hatchback sti? How does it work? How can you track it?
Been looking online for any information regarding. Iv claimed it has a tracker on my insurance but have no idea if it works? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

 

Have you paid a subscription is your details I.e name and password on the tracker data base?.SJ.

What data base is that? Where might I find my tracker details? I imagen if I'm not subscribed it won't work or be use able in the event of a theft?

 

Your correct in thinking that as it's the truthif you have not activated it by paying the subscription they can still monitor your car but will not track it if it's stolen.I know when I bought my car the type uk sti came with trackers as standard with a years subscription but after that you had to pay monthly or yearly,but back then I'm not to sure if they do it now But you could opt for the lifetime subscription which was a one off payment and activated for as long as The subscriber owns the car.The details should be in your paper work from who ever you bought the car from unless they had the tracker removed.SJ.
