Default Changing speedo

Hi I am wondering if any one can help me, I have a bugeye scooby and needed a new speedo so I got the from the blogeye( one with the rev counter in the middle) as I was told this one would fit my car, which it does but the abs and handbrake light are constantly on, is there any reason for this? I have put the old one back in the car and the lights do not come on constantly on that one.
Thanks Kev

I'm sure I read somewhere that there's a couple of wires that need moved to different pins on the connectors. Do a search for it mate.
