Default WR1 exhaust on a wrx?

Would this fit?

From what I know it has a bigger bore and sports cats in it?

Hi.
The Wr1 downpipe cat/exhaust will fit on a wrx. Regarding the bore size - after the downpipe cat it's all standard 2.5 inch same as a wrx ppp (back box the same). The Wr1 has a sport cat which is free flowing with a larger cat, so bigger all round, but fits the centre delete section (wrx has cat here). As the Wr1 is a blob it won't fit a classic or a hawk(I don't think). Hope this helps
Phil

I have a full Cobra system that was made for a wr1 then sold onto me for my 01 bugeye. Mine is a full 3" turbo back if that makes any difference as it didnt have to fit any existing parts of an exhaust system still on the car.

So if i got the full system turbo back, it would be a straight swap?

Mines a 2003 wrx bugeye.

Just to confirm my thought process, swapping to the Wr1 turbo back, I would loose a cat out the exhaust and the one i would still have will be a high flow/better Cat than whats in there at the moment? and it would still pass an mot.

Cool, il push on with that plan then. Without mapping you rekon i would gain much? Im hoping for bit better pick up more than outright power.

On a side note, would the WR1 shocks and springs fit? I'm assuming if they do the car would be 30mm lower? or more?
