Depends so much on what you want from the tyres and personal driving style. I personally like toyo's

Another vote for vredesteins, just replaced all four on mine for a very reasonable price from Camskill.

They are awesome for grip and improving feel. I have them on my 05wrx, but also spent last weekend driving a classic with them on. That car has prodrive suspension, speedline wheels and the old scooby sport brake upgrade which needed 5mm spacers. Only word of warning is that with the bid rim protector of the assy 2s, there was some slight rubbing on the inner arch if you really throw it hard into a corner with a compression. Fine when driving smoothly.

+1 dam good tyre. run them on my 05 car and have been in a classic with them fitted, they are one of the best tyres you can get for the road, wet or dry (I use them for wet track stuff too)

Also heard good things about these, a friend set a sub 9min lap at the ring on these on shocks springs in a 280bhp wrx. Very resistant to aquaplaning as well.

A good track tyre, slightly harder wearing than 888s but giving a way a little bit in overall grip over the 888's. They also take a while to come good when first fitted, (aprox 500miles running in.. which seems kind of high for track orientated tyre) the Nankang RS-R track tyre is also worth a look (*120 wear rate)

+1 for f1
Some advise track tyres for road use but they never been on tracks , they wish to feel like on it and first rain will prove them they were wrong.
