Classic steering racks
Hi folks.
A while ago I was asking a question about which steering rack would fit a V2 WRX to which I was given the unanamous decision that all classic racks fit all classics.
Anyway today I was asked to see the mechanic who is still working on my car (sort of) and when I got there he told me that the rack wouldn't fit. Something to do with the pipes not lining up right and can't be bent as there steel
Can anyone advise me on this please?
Thanks in advance

Well I got the car back home now as no one could give any advice on the matter
Here is the new rack I bought
And apparently one of the pipe holes on the one on the car is at a different angle to the one of them on this rack. The one on my car the holes are apparently pretty much the same angle where as one of these is not, as you can see!
Has anyone got any ideas this time? lol

Hi im not suprised that no one has been able to help on here as I have asked a couple of technical questions on here one about exhausts and down pipes and the other about sti suspension both times no help what so ever, but when I put a pic up of my car people were very quick to tell me what was wrong with it. I have joined sidc and there seems to be alot more technical help on there.
