Engine experts need a little advice
I have an EJ257 in my classic, the engine block has too breathers one which is located nearly central. I've always had an issue with my oil catch tank filling quite quick when hammering the car about. (Approx 1 litre a month) bearing in mind I hardly drive it.
Anyway I've read that the central breather isn't an actual breather it's a pressure balance line to my heads (or would have been if not fitted to my classic). Does this mean this central breather can be capped/blanked off. Looking at the breather pipes it does seem this is the line which fills my catch tank.
Any advice is appreciated

Yes it is a balance pipe between the heads & block, blank it off, & don't use the balance pipe ports on the cam covers for breathers either, if you have them, only the smaller 12mm ones which are baffled inside.
