Thanks for the replays people I just don't want to be putting the clutch in for it to slip
I bought a exedy paddle clutch but the friction plate is knackered is it possible just to buy
A new friction plate for it ?

Best advice is to buy a clutch that will take the power, not might take the power. 400/420 is a safe number on the Exedy Pink 230mm. Some people may have specced the clutch within this range and then gone beyond that by modifying the car more and the clutch still holds, but that's another matter.

Also, bear in mind that the 6 speed version will handle more power as it is a bigger clutch (240mm).

For your goals/requirements I would fit this: http://aztecperformance.com/clutches...4-5-speed.html

Is that on a 230mm or 240mm?
