Default What turbo is fitted as standard to my 1998 Terzo

Hi all,
Iv'e just bought a Impreza Terzo and unfortunatley its been diagnosed with a shagged turbo (only producing about 0.4 bar), is the standard turbo a TD04 or TD05?
All the sites iv'e looked on suggests TD05 so thats what i bought, i havent had it fitted yet (this is being done tomorrow).
If the TD05 is an upgrade, what will i need to do in addition?
It already has the PPP fitted and a larger front mounted intercooler.
The dyno printout from the previous owner shows an out put of 272bhp, so would this suggest its been remapped already?

please help!!!!

TD05 will need a different boost and timing map to work properly for you. But if the car is already mapped for a TD04 it might be better to just source another TD04 as you can pick them up for around 60 quid in usable condition:

turbo

Andy Forrrest website recons that TD05 isn't needed until your trying to break 300hp so might be as well selling it on or saving up for the rest of the shopping bits on his site.
