Default type r window trim removal

a bit late for this but looking for info on how to remove the rear 1/4 window trim withought damaging it.

i have half removed 1 side,2 of the top tabs have broke and the last one in the corner is solid and i dont want to break that either.

i had a look inside behind the trim but cant see much.

anyone help out

Done this myself on mine. There are 4 screws that run down the side of the glass next to the door (b pillar) under the rubber. Pull the rubber back and you will see them. There is also a screw on the rear most point of the trim accessed from the inside after you remove the upper trim. The three clips that hold the trim against the body usually break but can be bought from Import Car Parts, which are genuine items but cheaper than dealer prices.

i got the 4 screws up the side but broke the clips along the top and left the bottom corner attached,i will get another look behind the trim and try find said nut

any idea on part names for the broken clips ??

Cant remember part numbers but Luke at ICP will know what you need. Give them a call.

The corner nut needs an 8mm deep socket and sits inside a hole after the interior trim is removed. Its a long shaft on the bolt so as to not lose the nut inside the panel.
