After 8 yrs of having the HKS sounding like a chirping bird on dumping that vital turbo pressure ive removed the whole insert and now have a proper whoosh rather than the chirp, so, if you have the hks Dumpvalve, its worth doing

imo theres no point owning a hks if its not chirping

Well, gotta say, i agree with you now lol, without the insert, sounds o.k but miss the chirp so re-fitting the insert, was worth a try tho lol

Mine sounds completely different to all of them,no chirp and has a flutter

i saw a thread where somebody elses hks had a flutter, they had the restrictor fitted within the vac line, i dont have this so cant compare to find out for sure
