Hi people need a bit of advice I have been offered a hyper Exedy clutch for my 5 speed subaru, however the clutch was fitted to a 6 speed car, what would I need to change to get this clutch to fit my car it is running a 5 speed ppg box, is it just the starter motor that would need changing to a 6 speed one, also what are the clutchs like for street use

the clutch comes with it's own specific flywheel and will be a straight fit into your 5 speed box. I'm fairly sure you would have to change the starter motor and slave cylinder.
I've looked into this clutch as my exedy pinkbox is way past it's stated limit. I'm told they can seem noisy and their operation takes a few drives to get the hang of but after that they are fine. Also on track wear can be high but a good bit of kit for 500+lbsft.
Hope this helps as it's only what I've been told, however I have used a 6speed single plate clutch on a 5 speed box.
