For the cost you would pay you might aswell change in yourself it's not a huge job, you will have old one out new one in within a few hours, just get help lifting in and out

Well that depends on your skill level, access to equipment and definition of not a huge job I did it myself recently on ramps on the drive and I would say its a complete pain in the **** with an added helping of grief and for the money and possible issues encountered you may as well get somebody to do it for you.

Changed my gearbox prop and diff, on my drive on 3 axle stands and jack, with help of a friend (I'm a landscape Gardner he's a builder), hardest bit was getting the gearbox under the car and lifted up by hand, there was no engine in so my mate stood in the bay I layer underneath humped into place, tied the top of the gearbox to the dogbone mount bracket and got a axle stand under the middle of the gearbox, it's easy undoing and doing up the bolts, not sure how easy it would be lining the gearbox to engine with the engine in

Once the gearbox is out I just leave the car on axel stands then slide a jack under the gearbox and jack it back into position, obviously needs a bit of persuation but I blew my 5 speed up 12 times so kinda got used to taking out and putting back in
