OK, I'm looking at going for a Kinugawa turbo as they are pretty cheap and seem to get decent reviews lately.
Now I'm down to either the TD05 16G, with billet wheel and 9 blade turbine, or the TD04 20T with billet wheel and 9 blade turbine. I can't decide between the two as I like the early spool of the TD04, but it does seem with normal driving I just get on boost then change gear. With the TD05 I could stay off boost on normal driving, only coming onto boost over 3k rpm.
Anyone got any thoughts or input?

I have always loved my TD05's had both TD05 18 & 16... to be honest between the td04 and the td05 16 I doubt there will be a big difference in spool really, not enough to worry about anyway.

I wonder how the Kinugawa hybrid TD04 would perform against say Andy Forrest's one. I can't find any info on how the 20T wheel would perform, only that the 9 blade turbine means it spools earlier.
