What's my best option?
Hi folks
Now I know there will be like hundreds of posts on here about questions I want to ask but possibly over several different threads etc, but I'm after trying to find out what's the best option for me to save some money for.
My V2 WRX could do with a re-map but I know that I can't re-map the ecu the early classics have (well so I have read on here). So my question is:
Do I buy an ecu that will fit my classic (a later ecu) that's already been mapped to accompany the mods I have done already or do I have to start from scratch?
I'm not sure what's on offer with different maps/ecus/boards etc as I'm not technically minded!
All help and information is appreciated and what sort of costs I maybe looking at would help.
Thank you in advance

Was having a quick look through and stumbled across Andy Forrest doing the ECL board for £640 supplied fitted and custom mapped. Is this a good price does anyone know?

Good price because he is a highly respected mapper. Simon from jolly green monster also has very good reviews and comes in at £575(i think) and Duncan from race dynamix also has a lot of good things said about him at £525 and there are many more mappers out there who provide this service. I think the ESL website has a list of mappers that they recommend.Obviously cheaper doesn't always mean better and you should do research on any mapper you choose.
