Default Hawkeye forged from standard???

Hi there. A friend of mine has been told that my hawk sti uk spec (55 reg) is forged from standard but I'm sure it's not and would like this confirmed. I believe I'm running the safe max power on a standard engine @ 350 bhp/torque. I've had the head gasket done and whilst it was being done a rebuild with race bearings and what Ever else need doing was standard parts

Thanks
James

Not forged from standard, I would be a bit surprised if when the rest of the work was done the engine builder didn't convince you to at least buy forged pistons. There are plenty of people who will tell you that they run similar power with a completely standard engine and have no problems, there are others who feel its a waiting game but I wouldn't worry, all should be fine.
