Default TD05 16g on my wrx ??

Looking to purchase a 16g and just want to know before i do ... is it a straight swap from the 2003 standard turbo ?? im going to be also getting
*pinks
*sti tmic
*cobra 3inch decat turbo back
*walbro
*remap
*mishimoto rad
*xeedy stage 2

Looking for no more really than 340bh

It fits but you need to swap the compressor cover for a front entry unit or have the original one modified.

The guy selling it says its a straight fit, if anyone can tell by that tiny picture please let me know, Thanks alot

You will need the oil feed banjo bolt, it is different to the td04 (can't tell from the photo if it is with it or not).
Also if it has never been fitted to a new age car before, it will need a small section of the housing ground off for clearance.

There was a good condition VF34 on ebay. Think its still on, around £400 iirc

I've just fitted a ported VF35 (ported by FBTuning) and it is VERY good, spools up early (with a Harvey up pipe) has strong mid range and good top end. Should give you the 340bhp your after with all the supporting mods your after (probably wont need some of them too!)

I haven't had it on the rolling road yet, but give FBTuning a call, he'll be able to give you more information if your interested.

cheers for the reply's everyone , going to get a vf35 from teg motosport and there mapping it and everything aswell, Any one here with 340 tell me what its like ? is it insane fast ! i love speeed !! ahgijebndb3w ahhhhhhhhhhhh !!!

I had vf35 powered gc8 on a 6 spees gearbox pushing 340 bhp and it was just enough for twisty roads but it lack power past 200km/h.

That said its was night and day difference to stage 1 with 280 bhp.

For insane fast road car you need 500/500:P
